TRIPS TO SULINA CITY
Sulina, a town full of history
Sulina is the easternmost town in Romania. Sulina is the only port city on the Danube and the Black Sea. In the city of Sulina we will walk to the point where the Danube flows into the Black Sea and then we will take some time to visit the city, where you can visit the sights of the city or go to the beach.
Trips to Letea Forest
Letea Forest is a protected area of national interest, with a surface of 2825 ha. It is the oldest protected area in Romania, being protected since 1930, and not by chance: it is the northernmost subtropical forest in the world, and the only one of its kind in Europe, hosting about 3,500 species of plants and animals.

The Caraorman Forest occupies the central part of the Caraorman Gorge located in the southern part of the Sulina Arm. The protection zone includes the most developed sand dunes of the Caraorman Forest and the Danube Delta.

Stipoc Monastery
The only monastery of monks in the Danube Delta, located on the stipoc ridge is an isolated place in the middle of nature.
The abbot of the monastery is a very welcoming and patient man with all who enter the monastery. The place is like a little paradise in the middle of nowhere, a kind of oasis where you can refresh yourself after a hot summer day.

ABOUT CRIȘAN VILLAGE
Crișan village, known as being located in the heart of the Danube Delta is a tourist village located on the Sulina arm, the only navigable arm of the Danube Delta. Crișan village, the pearl of the Delta tourism, has a favorable position towards all the main attractions of the Danube Delta. Crisan village is 7 km long on both sides of the river. Access to the village of Crișan is only navigable (boat, private boats).
The representative activities for this village are fishing and tourism.
